    Cider was clear

    I made a batch of cider, all was going well, it cleared nicely but I wasn't able to bottle right away. It has been aging in a glass carboy for 5 or 6 weeks, and now has clouded up.There are a few small bubbles on the surface but no mold that I can see. Is it salvageable or a lost cause? thanks

    apple variety?

    Hi, new guy here . I have a few apple trees that I have finally been looking after and am quite excited about making cider. One tree is Lodi variety, a really early yellow "summer apple" I would liketo make cider with them as a practice run... what can I expect? thanks.
