    How does this SCOBY look?

    Hi. I'm working on my first SCOBY, made from commercial Kombucha. Can someone please assess this? It stared off a smooth velvety white and is now off-white and quite 'ropey'. Is this OK? It looks like yeast climbing up the side on top a bit. Thanks.
