    New SCOBY contaminated?

    I'm brewing my fourth batch of Kombucha and am concerned that the new scoby looks really different from the last few new babies that formed. The mother looks healthy and is laying on the bottom. It doesn't look like mold really, but it's dark in several areas and there was an air bubble on top...
