    Natural Fermentation?

    If you were to pour a TON of sugar/wort into a small pond & bring the gravity up to 1.05 or greater, do you think it would ferment out & the pond (no rain) would contain alcohol? For example, a wild pond with thousands of gallons of water. Just something I thought about a long time ago...

    No-Chill Infection

    Just attempted BIAB with no-chill method for the first time... $80 in grains/yeast/hops gone due to an infection of a 12 gallon batch :smack: Definitely never gonna try this method again, as it is not worth the risk. Wild yeasts took over the wort fairly quickly (with airlock/lid attached)...

    Steeping Grains?

    I have some steeping bags, and I was wondering if I could just steep all the grains/hops during the boil/mash/etc instead of throwing it all in to have to filter/strain out after. It seems like it would be much cleaner, but would it be less efficient or not work to extract the fermentable...

    Does this grain bill look right?

    I'm wondering if this grain bill looks like a good first all-grain. I've done a few extracts, and have also done starch conversions before as well. I have read & watched many videos on what to do, so now it's time to do it! Anyway, I'll be making a 15 gallon batch (for kegging + using keggle)...
