    I will be smoking a few racks tomorrow, and I thought about trying to smoke some grains after then temp dies down. Was thinking of doing 45min at around 100-120F? My thought is to steep those grains in a English mild extract batch, then add oak spirals to the fermenter for a "Smoked&Oaked"...

    Newbie saying hello from NC!

    I've got two main hobbies, drag racing and brewing beer. Horsepower&Hops is life. I've been brewing extract for a few years now, just recently built a kegerator in my shop. Looking forward to learning more from the great members on this forum, perhaps stepping up to all-grain in the future. Prost!
