Building an all grain set up from scratch?

Im doing this the broke college way. So far, I got a bbq off craigslist and disasembled it to get the smaller burner. Now, I have looked for pictures for all-grain set ups but they lack clear instructions. Do any of you have solid advice, and also perhaps a few pictures of some great examples...

    Beer treasure

I went in to an "antique store" last week. I was hunting around and came across to secondary glass carbois (bad spelling) both with air locks. $30 for both of them. I purchased them with a big smile on my face. Out of curiosity, was that a steller deal? If not, im still smiling, I can now double...

    Commercial bottle washing at home

So Im thinking about making a case that is capable of closing and still leting water in. With this, I could then take my bottles from sanitizing to rinsing 24 at a time. I dont have a dishwasher (I dont have room) and I dont have a keg system (room or money) so I figure massive bottle washing...

    Cheers from Bellingham Washington!

I walked in to a local brew store the other day "perusing." I walked out and started my first batch a few hours later. What a great hobby and a fun process. Im already getting set for my next batch. Thank you all so far for your help.

    Mold or Fermentation?

I messed up two days ago when I began by not letting the yeast pack start before begining. I was told to wait, now it is doing something. There are small bubles but not a lot and most of it is a white substance on the top. I will feel stupid if it is just fermenting. I took another hydrometer...

Beer Garden: not the traditional term!

Ok, so I have heard that grains are getting very expensive. I figured i might try my luck at growing a few this summer. Any thaughts on what to grow? What is easiest? What grains are the most expensive to purchase. I live in Washinton State if location is a big deal.

    A few more questions...

Some more newb questions: 1) Do I need to use a siphon to fill each bottle of beer, or is there an easier or more affective way? I dont believe a can siphon my beer from my fermentor to a bucket and than dip the bottles in (seems like that would allow bacteria and also kick around the beer...

    Yeast: Yikes

Hi everyone. I made my first batch yesterday. I did everything correctly except I messed up on the yeast. I had one of the packs where you bust the small pack inside. I forgot to do that. Instead, I busted it and added it to the mix imediately. Do I need to add new yeast? What will happen with...
