    ingredients for a stout

    I'm planning on making a stout, with some distinct chocolate taste. But, I'm not planning on using roast barley. Will this be ok? Would it be ok to use dark LME (about 8 pounds) with chocolate and caramel malts? I'm also contemplating on adding some dark chocolate towards the end of the boil.
