    Went to White Labs

If you're ever in San Diego I recommend White Labs Tasting Room. You can get flights of the same beer but with different yeast strains. Kind of hard to apply it to mead but i think its worth the trip just to see what yeasts are capable of. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Saw this floating in my mead

Saw several of these spiral looking white floaters in my mead. They are fairly rigid when you press on them. Mead tastes and smells fine. Im thinking its some kind of yeast byproduct. This is my first batch so I'm new to this. Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    App for mead making?

Can anyone suggest an app for gravity calculations or other aspects of mead making? I see a lot in the app store and I'm not sure which is the best, thanks! Ghetto degassing before i went and bought a bucket and a drill attachment.
