    Is Two Month Old Kombucha Safe to Drink?

    I have a jar of kombucha at the back of my fridge that I purchased at Mother Earth News Fair in September. It's two months old and has been sitting at the back of my fridge the whole time. Is it safe to drink? Can I make a scoby out of it? Thanks.
