    First boil over

    Dry hopping time in secondary

    I am doing my first lager beer and dry hopped into the secondary. I have about 2 weeks to bottle and the hops I used to dry hop are Cenntinal hops with an AA of 8.4, 1 oz in a hop bag. I added them when I moved to secondary and am debating on pulling them out, but not sure if it will hurt to...

    Rough day at work.

    What else to do but brew a nice ale and enjoy some time in the kitchen using the stove for its original purpose. Plus my mother-in-law gave me my birthday gift early, so why not try it out, the only question, to filter the leaf hops or to not filter.

    Decided to stop trolling

    Hi everyone. I have been looking at this site for a month now, since my wife gave me a True Brew set up for Christmas. I am now drinking my first home brew, an Irish Red that started life as an amber. Hey, it's still beer.
