    say you didn't use an airlock

    Ok, as my name suggests, I've never tried this before. My instructions that came with my beer mix didn't mention the airlock, and like an idiot I didn't really think there was anything wrong with the fact that there was a hole in the cap of my brewing canister. I'm using an "ale pail" 5 gallon...
