    JOAM - Fruit hasn't dropped

    I started 2 1 gallon JOAMs on or about August 28th, and the fruits are still floating, and they are still slightly cloudy. I will wait as long as it takes, but was wondering if it is common for the fruit to still be floating after about 4 months.

    Problems with first gallon of mead

    I made a gallon using a recipe I found on stormthecastle.com. After I racked it off after it finished fermenting, I tried it and it was disgusting. I know its only been about a month and 1/2, but I was wondering if that is common, and will letting it sit make it taste better or did I mess up...
