Just finished bottling my first batch. I used half regular brown bottles & caps & half easy cap bottles. Is it bad that after I bottled, sealed & shook my easy caps that a little foam was squeezing out of the seal? Ideas, options, concerns?

I'm going to be bottling soon and have a few questions. My fermenter doesn't have a spout on it but I recently bought one. Should I just siphon out of my fermenter or transfer it over and siphon it from the bottling bucket? Any tips or tricks or lessons learned with bottling are appreciated...
Hello there!! Thanks for the welcome. I'm fermenting my first batch I made last Saturday & I'm kind of nervous. My CO2 valve on top of my fermenter has become covered on the inside with residue from my batch. What should I do, if anything?
