    Potential bombs

I only got like 4.5 gallons of my dipa instead of 5 gallons. Stupidly i used all 5 ounces of priming sugar. After 1 week i had a big co2 sound but no bubbles. I know its early but the longer it sits the more co2 will build up. It was definitely to sweet also. I hope more of the hops come through.

    Annoyed at myself

I just transferred to secondary. After seeing all that nice yeast at bottom I'm regretting not getting the stuff to wash and store that yeast. I feel like it is such a waste to dump it but i guess i don't have a choice. Sorry just had to vent

    Leaves vs pellet aroma

I want to double dry hop and was wondering if there was a difference in how long the aroma stays. I was thinking about adding pellets in the primary and whole hops in the secondary or adding one then the other a week apart. Do you think it will make a difference

    Batch size question.

Im thinking of brewing a ris. The batch size is 5.5 gallons and the boil says 4 gallons. My brew pot is only 5 gallons. I don't want to chance a boil over with 4 gallons. Do you think it would change the beer too much if i boiled 3 or 3 and a half and topped it off to 5 and half.

Was confident but I'm panicking again

So i took a gravity reading and it was 1.02 my temp was 60 so I decided to swirl the yeast back into suspension and move it to a warmer area. I know it started back up cause the airlock was bubbling and fermometer temp is now 66 ambient is like 63. My problem is the wort was only sealed up for...

    So happy

It tastes good. I'm drinking my sample i just took.2 weeks in primary and its 1.02. My kit didn't say what the fg should be but i don't even care right now. Its hoppy flat and delicious. I can't imagine what a couple more weeks and dry hopping is gonna taste like. It's a hear looking ipa. So far...
