    Hey guys I was hoping you pros could help me out im going to be bottling some beer soon and was wondering if I could put the beer in this thing would it keep it carbonated after I pour a few pints? if it only goes for a could of days Im cool with that too Thanks again guys

    I made clear beer before without a secondary, I used to leave alot of the beer at the bottom of the bucket just to not risk getting any more yeast in the bottles.... but I think the 2ndary really helps with getting rid of the suspended yeast, cause what I thought was clear b4 has nothing on this...

    Just opened up a bottle from a batch that I put into a glass carboy for secondary fermentation and wow is it amazing... its crystal clear, and barely any sediment if none at all... I can drink this from the bottle... I was worried Id need to pitch more yeast, but nope its carbed up nice...

Im getting a house in about 2 months and thats when I want to start....(Im not doing all grain in a small apartment)... I just never understood how much of the mash is fermentable with all grain and how much...

    So if I switch to making beer from grain instead of these malt extract kits I dont need to add sugar to ferment? just using the grain after its been processed and ready will do they same job?

    I'm curious, the palmer book I bought talks about all the different kinds of sugar, and also says how commercial brewers dont use all that much sugar (I might have read it wrong) what do they use? Id switch to using Malt extract instead of Sugar but I cant see that saving me any money at all...

    I noticed this not too long ago, the screw caps on rolling rock were different then our canadian beers, now I dont know if rolling rock bottles are the same style twist off as american beers though

    Im worried about some bottle bombs, but Im curious, if it makes it past a certain amount of time is it safe? like if my bottles make it past 3 weeks is it likely they will be fine by then? or can they still blow up after that? I bottled 1 2 little plastic bottle along with my glass...
