One issue I noticed in some of the negative reviews was they talked about that hop screen getting blocked up. Obviously it would depend on amount of hops so quite style dependent but just wondering if anybody had any issue or if they were using a hop spider or something?

I mix it with distilled water per John Palmers instructions, he says as long it does not cloud it is still a low pH. Use it for weeks.

HI All, Looking to start whirl pooling my wort at flame out. It should be easy for me as I have a SS BME kettle with a built in whirlpool port. My question is who has experience whirl pooling with a immersion chiller in place? Is it useless of just less effective or does it work just fine...

Hi, looking at buying a new kettle. The SS brew tech BME kettle looked interesting with the domed base and the tangential whirlpool port. Just wondering if anyone uses it and can tell me what they think. Thanks!
