Why would you not attempt to help people that can't easily get supplies? Not everyone is in the US and can get them for dirt cheap. It's a hobby, not a brewery.

My math needs to be less wrong when I do water calcs.

I've slowly converted my 3 vessel propane setup into a BIAB system and it seems to be working. It might be the most convoluted conversion out there but it seems to be working fairly well. Just need to get my math working better to take up much less shelf space.

This is what I did in my keezer. I actually added a second manifold to feed all 8 kegs it will fit but the premise is identical. The tank now sits outside the keezer.

Yup, they are cheap enough, I found it made a hell of a mess without a lid of some type. My hopper is just an old plastic tube duct taped to the steel piece and is all kinds of janky but it works well enough. Someday I'll buy a fancy mill, but this one has lasted me almost 3 years now and...

Looks good. Edit: This is how I did mine, I took the bottom half of the top bucket and used it to make a shroud to control the grain from flying everywhere.

I've done a 3 vessel mash in a bag for almost 2 years now. I just have a pulley to lift the bag out and drip and it works great. Probably could just biab but i like my system.

Huh I set mine about that level almost 2 years ago and haven't checked it since. I still grind the hell out of the grain with how it's set up.

I had one that completely touched the bottom and I couldn't get flow out of it, not sure how it happened but I cut a couple mm off the bottom and it works a treat now.

I've used a lot of universals as my kegs are a pretty mixed grab bag of parts. So far other than being annoying to install at times they've been fine.
