Well, finally got a clear PCR test. Leaving Maputo (!!!) Wednesday afternoon, will arrive in Tucson Thursday night. Get to fly on an Airbus 350-1000 from Doha to Dallas. Mozambique is a nice place to visit for a couple weeks, but.....

In Tucson, you can't get near a Golden Corral for all the wheelchairs and walkers. They probably have senior discount built into the pricing.

Another strange palm tree. I took this pic in Guyana, but I have seen smaller versions here in Mozambique. Never seen anything like this in the states. For lack of knowledge, I call it a fan palm. The white guy staring at it is my boss.

Yah, just clicked on the article, nose gear lock pin installed in wrong hole, not as uncommon as you might think. On the bigger jets, you have to do some climbing to reach the hole. Landing gear collapses are also not uncommon.

Despite the hilarious suggestions, especially @grampamark , it looks like the landing gear safety pins were installed in the wrong hole. Pic is kinda confusing, the pins are normally removed before taxiing, but it may be that this one was in the process of boarding.
