Made a variation of this, it really is a great style. Ended up getting second place at an interclub comp. Nelson, Mosaic, Eclipse. 100% pearl malt.

Homebrewed Quad, 11.1% ABV.

First time having this, it's excellent. Light, hoppy, and dank as hell.

I only use ALDC on IPAs. It does last so it doesn't end up being that expensive.

I love nectaron, never gotten that diesel flavor with it.

I've done the dreg yeast to make Focal Banger before, worked well.

I used Vermont Ale yeast from Yeast Bay. White Labs sells it now.

My second attempt at Heady. My sealed bag of Amarillo smelled like cheese, subbed it for Sequoia. Used Conan. This is after 1 week in the keg, pretty happy with it.
