need advice | fridge vs fermzilla for temp control

Even if I will probably only turn it on for like 3-4 days a month? Unless layering, you only really truly need temp control s when you are in high krausen right? The rest of the time is aging and even 30 celcius room temp won't effect flavors too much. As far as I understand.

hey everybody i live in a small apartment with limited space and need to decide whats the better option. i brew maybe 1-2 times a month, sometimes just once. Should I buy a mini-fridge, that will be used mainly for fermentation (meaning it wont be used most of the time), or is it better just...

how important in your opinion is aeration, starter and yeast nutrition?

thank you all for the answers. Since I did not mention before, i do extract beers with steeping grains and top off water. i have about 12-15 total beers i have done and out of them I would say 9 were perfect, in the sense that they kept the prime taste for about 2-3 months, they had a nice...

IBU with Beersmith on high gravity beer

Thanks. I think I will do that then. Use 2l of ice as top off just to lower temp faster. I top off all of my batches with at least 8L of water that is usually 50% ice. Never had much issue. Not saying there is no risk but for me it's the same risk as always.

IBU with Beersmith on high gravity beer

Thank you. Can I go around the IBU problem by boiling for example, 5L of water with bittering hops, and freezing them? I can then use them as the top off portion of my water. Another approach is to go with less top off and doing basically a no chill. I can time my brewing to finish towards the...
