I clean after each keg kicks but right now I just have a one keg setup not sure how those with multiple kegs do it.

I would give them a call. I once forgot to add yeast to an order called them up and they shipped it out that day at half the flat rate. I though that was decent of them and Im sure they will take care of you. Sucks you missed your brew day though.

Its the basket that came with the deep fryer kettle it completely fills the kettle with little room between outside of basket and side of kettle. If there is a temp difference it is minimal.

I have a basket that fits into the kettle> i put the bag in the basket then when done mashing (also in the kettle) i lift the basket and slide the grill under it. Works perfectly with no mess.

Take apart clean and sanitize the bucket spigot if you are using one. It something usually overlooked during cleaning.

This beer really gets to its best after a few months. I wish I had known sooner but Learning is what its about. Last two batches I aged in the keg for a minimum of 4 weeks before tapping. Dont get me wrong I really enjoyed the first batch after two weeks bottled but longer is definitely better.

I just did this. I used mosaic as the first hops and centennial as the last. Its been fermenting for a week and I dry hopped today with an ounce of mosaic. Hydrometer sample tasted great. I will be kegging it next weekend so can give you a better review after it carbs up.

Doing my third 5 gal batch of this tomorrow, everything is weighed out and ready. Im going with Mosaic for the first two additions then centennial for the last two. Trying to decide if I want to dry hop with an ounce of Mosaic or the Centennial. Thoughts?

Lone Star....went to the brewery years ago....beer was free...since I didnt like the regular i stayed with Lone Star Light and it was like drinking club soda.
