The breaker protects the entire circuit, and depends on any receptacle to handle the max rated load. Undersizing anything is bad juju and unlikely to meet code anywhere. Either upgrade the outlet or downgrade the breaker. And plugging a low amp device on a higher amp circuit really has nothing...

fwiw, CBC-1 should tolerate up to an 18% ABV iirc, but it might rip through every bit of remaining sugar, too, with potentially explosive results...

I confess it took me a minute to get ^that^ as the "wind" part here has caught more attention than the "cold" part...so far. Tomorrow after a ridiculous overnight low that cold will have sunk in a bit, but then the temps will turn downright balmy Sunday. Totally New England :D

I was going to recommend trying to find some Spencer Abbey IPA but the brothers shut the monastery's brewery down a couple months ago. Too bad, they had some unique brews...their take on an IPA was enjoyably spicey... Cheers!
