    It turns out that’s what am using I have several small batches trying different things to see if I can get one going and use it as a starter. I am even trying heat turbo yeast and raising the temp to 86 degrees

    Am having trouble with my ferment.... I used the hearts of the plant and agave syrup sg at 1.096 temp 72 degrees, no fermentation going... not sure what to do next

    Pulque is made from a different plant (same family, but different), it’s called maguey. Tequila is NOT made from maguey, it won’t taste the same.
