    Brewing Clubs in NW Houston

Professional welding in tomball is on 2920 east of Downtown on the south side of the road. Great guy - be sure to tell him you're filling for beer, and if you really want to make him happy, bring him a bottle. Fantastic service and cheaper than anywhere else i've been.

Kegerator out of a Bull Semen Tank

I'm surprised that no one has made reference to Caddoaggie's collegiate affiliation or his location in College Station. Whole new meaning to Aggie Homebrewers. holy crap

    Super Simple 15G Plastic Conical

welcome Krusher! yeah, i did the orings as well, and the weatherstripping, all to no avail. I have since quit worrying about it after finding the following. - using a blowoff tube and container sitting on the floor, i was able to apply suction to racking port, and draw a column of starsan all...

    Chugger LOUD and seizes

yeah, read those - but even better...i sent a contact to chugger asking if there's a way service it - 5mins later, there's a new pump on its way! I mean, the new black bodied pumps are fantastic - the heating elements in my kettles are louder than that thing! Dan at chugger pumps was VERY...

    Chugger LOUD and seizes

I have an old chugger - the green body - for one of my pumps. I had it mounted in a rolling tool box and wired through a switch, but now is on my brew table and wired into my electricbrewery build. I had all kinds of trouble with it in the past with it being load and would loose mag couple...

Thats the HLT - you know, i've had that coil out probably 6 times since taking that picture, fixing leaks etc on fittings, and still never scrubbed it out (task tunnel vision). I have scotchbrite pads i scrub everything down with, but once i clean that vessel, it should stay clean as it will...

    Kal Clone and New Brewshed

I followed the spacing from KAL and to be honest, i didnt get nervous until i put the switch in place. Actually worked out fine. My adjustable DC boards came as 2 pieces. Post up a pic, i'd like to see that!

    New twist immersion chiller

I don't know that I'd go THAT far. I certainly wouldn't put it in MY wort, and probably wouldn't drink it if i knew it was in beer i was served. However - it does provide a great heat exchange value and I bet at the right flow rate, you could get even Houston summertime tap water down in the...

    Kal Clone and New Brewshed

Hey Kian - Not a hijack at all! thats what this thread is for. Ask away! I used a 22mm hole saw on the front to make holes, then just cleaned them up a bit with a step bit. i did NOT use a drill press. If you have access to one, go that route. You can do it by hand if you take your time...

Fermentation Chamber build - Not getting cold enough

i mean, is the entire fridge enclosed in the chamber, or is the backside of the fridge with the coils and fins exposed to the outside.

Fermentation Chamber build - Not getting cold enough

that was my thought. or you're dumping heat back into the chamber from the hot side of your fridge. How is the heat dissipating from the coils?

Fermentation Chamber build - Not getting cold enough

So you're having this issue with the fridge running?

Fermentation Chamber build - Not getting cold enough

twocent - whats the ambient temp where your chamber is sitting? I imagine that you just don't have enough cold to suck up all the heat that's in there. It looks like a pretty big volume you got there. How is the lid sealing to the body?
