    Brewing with hibiscus

I didn't have the hibiscus petals on brewday, so I had to resort to adding them in secondary. I made a very concentrated hibiscus tea on the stove-top, strained the pedals, and dumped the cooled tea into the carboy. I ended up using 4 oz in my Hibiscus Blonde, but would use a more next time. Exercise

My latest strategy was to buy an HBO subscription. When I start my binge watching, I hop on the stationary bike. An hour goes by pretty fast while paying attention to a Westworld episode. Michigan Anyone Enter the Clawson, MI CRAFTCOM Homebrew competition?

Michigan Anyone Enter the Clawson, MI CRAFTCOM Homebrew competition?

I turned my entries in on Sunday and she said they had about 40 entrants. Maybe they would take some late to get closer to that 50 number. They are only giving awards for the American Ale, Belgian Ale, European Ale, and Other, so there's a pretty good chance we'll be in the same category.

    Crazy Attentuation on IIPA

If it read 1.004 against the 1.000 of tap water, that would mean you need to subtract .004 to get to your "adjusted" results, wouldn't it? So 1.074 and 1.002??
