    Ordinary Bitter on nitro. Takes me back to the pints of bitter enjoyed in England. Used Crisp floor malted marris otter as the base. Highly recommend. 🍻

    The mystery of Galaxy hops and harshness

    There aren’t many, but there are breweries that have Galaxy hop contracts and get to do lot selection in Tazmania every year which is where Galaxy is grown. Treehouse is one of them.

    What yeast did you use? Ive used german lager yeasts with good success but some swear by the San Francisco lager yeast for this style. I have yet to try that one.

    Janets Brown - Imperial Version Brewed as a tribute to Tasty. Used all Mecca Grade malt for this batch. Nice malt backbone but dry, hoppy and bitter.

    I hope everyone has been saving their money...the AHA has now added an additional 9 dollar per entry fee for the final round on top of the 16 dollar first round entry fee. With shipping and a successful first round, this comp will be quite pricey.
