@rotor. Thanks. The labels are easy. I have researched the heck out of these. I will be doing a blog on it soon. Have two more batches fermenting right now. My third batch came out good. It is my Colorado Sunset River Red Ale.

Yeast to use for bottling root beer

My nephew and I tried to make root beer kit and it did not carbonate. I have found a few recipes on here. I don't have a keg set up to dedicate a tap to yet. Operative word yet. My nephew is coming next week and wants to try again. What kind of yeast do I need to bottle a batch. I will...

Keg Equipment Needs for 4 Taps

Sandy. I'm based on the front range and guide mostly on the South Platte drainage. I do jump your way periodically. Maybe we can meet if I'm your way to fish and sample. Hit me up if you are near Colorado Springs. Best.

Keg Equipment Needs for 4 Taps

Guys, Thanks for the speedy response. In re-reading the question on CO2 distributors, I now understand from your responses on what is necessary. I am going to go with one four-way distributor and leave the other side open to force carb. In the future, I will probably have a two-way...

Keg Equipment Needs for 4 Taps

I am going to be building a keezer in the near future. I have been given a chest freezer recently and know it will hold four kegs. I have seen how to build the collar and where/how to install a temp regulator. Here is my dilemma: 1. For 4 taps, do I need just one double CO2 regulator...

Can we set up an informal time for a few of us to gather to discuss formation and vision of the club? I...

    Colorado Springs Brew Clubs?

Big DP. I was approved tonight. There appears to be an easier way to get the word out about this. I look forward to the next meet up. As for the alternative club count me in.

My Colorado Red Quill was the Midwest Amber Ale Extract Kit. I did not like the name so I gave it my Flyfishing theme that my beers will have. My IPA is my own recipe and will be ready to open on Feb 7. Can't wait. I also have a red ale that is fermenting. Need to find my next batch to get it...

    Colorado Springs Brew Clubs?

I'm in the Springs as well. I went to the Meet Up site for Brew Brothers and have not been approved yet. I am not sure how to get into this group as I am interested in having some local brewers to meet with and exchange information. On a side note, has anyone else been to Gold Camp Brewery on...
