    Brewing my first wine kit

Done, done, and done. I went with the expensive kit, I ONLY have 6 gallon carboys, and I plan on using all of the same equipment I've been using. Thanks Yooper!

    Brewing my first wine kit

Hi everyone, I am an experienced brewer, but so far I've only brewed meads and ciders. I brought my first wine kit, a Festa brand Moscato, and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to share before I get started. This brew is for my wife who likes sweet wines, and Moscato is her favourite. I...

    Nooooooo!!!

Yeah, I will have to figure something out for my carboys as well. I am thinking about making jackets for them out of soft packing foam. Needless to say I'll be a lot more careful from now on

    Nooooooo!!!

Actually, I'd have been more devastated if my 3 year old strawberry rhubarb mead had broken instead. My first thought was "Oh my good...which mead was that" I was a little relieved that it was the ginger mead... The strawberry rhubarb mead was started just before my wedding, so it has more...

    Nooooooo!!!

Not usually. I have a foam mat that I set then on. I was going to move the mat, so i carefully placed the carboy on the concrete... I won't be making that mistake again!

It has been going for about a year now. I was planning to age it for about another 5 years. Yes, I'm still intact. No blood spilt today.

    Nooooooo!!!

Thanks everyone. It is nice to not go through this tragedy alone... I pray this never happens to any of you. (or to me ever again)

    Nooooooo!!!

I just moved it. I picked it up and CAREFULLY put it down. But obviously I was not careful enough... It was my ginger mead. The pieces on the floor are lemon. It was a horrible feeling. I put so much work into it and it all went down the drain... :-(

I want to do that and cross reference with the ingredients found in the game.

    Skyrim Mead?

It looks like they didn't have anything ready for this question. But I bet you got the wheels turning on this one. They might have something figured out by the time they come up with the next game. I wish they had researched mead before finishing Skyrim, but it looks like they didn't. I...
