Only caveat is I like to build my own stuff. Half of the fun in this hobby for me :D thanks for the offer though.

Having trouble sourcing 2 more kegs. I think I might luck out with Lost Nation brewery (fingers crossed. For other Vermonters here's a list of where I tried: Drop-in: Does not sell Fiddlehead: Repairs their own, does not sell Longtrail: Engineer wasn't on site, need to email to check but I'm...

    eHERMS build thread

Thanksgiving made me a bit unproductive, but I did manage to scout a few breweries and cost estimate my HLT. Bad news is Longtrail, Fowely Brothers, Drop In, Otter Creek, and Fiddlehead breweries aren't selling kegs. Good news is they do serve tasty beer and I got my VT passport stamps from...

    Spartanburg Stainless "Challenger VI"

Time to necro a thread. I have this exact same issue. The out post appears to be a different/coarse thread but both posts will pit on the in port. The out post is a bit loose on the in port but threads on and tightens fine, neither will thread on the out port.

    eHERMS build thread

My roommate (Mechanical engineer) is doing the build with me and used a 1/32" cut off wheel on an air grinder and free handed it with a circle template line.

Ooooh also worth noting we have a plc allen bradley micrologix 1000 kicking around from an old job so we'll be using that. But I'll post more about it when I get to that part.

    Concord 60qt SS Kettle

I like to build my own things so a 30$ keg is pretty sweet. Cost me maybe 100$ with stainless ball valve, sight glass, and thermometer. But I do like the sounds of that and the price. Will keep them in mind for people who don't have a knack or desire to build.

    Dry Hopping Technique

I used whole dried hops most recently, they will not sink on their own in 7 days time.

Bit of a ways off on the total build since I'm going piece by piece but I might as well start here. The plan is to have an upside down keg for the mash tun, keggle HLT with stainless steel HERMS and a 5000 watt electric burner. Still havent decided on pumps yet, either buying chugger pumps or...

mutiple kegs with only one Co2 tank - question

Really should just look up the chart of temp vs pressure with the zones for beer styles, set it to that psi for the temp, and let it sit for 2-3 weeks. Beats the hell out of flat or over carb'd beer. Pretty sure it's pinned to the kegging forum.

mutiple kegs with only one Co2 tank - question

I use a secondary regulator manifold. Look up taprite on eBay to see if you can find something in your price range. I got mine for 100$ and I can have 4 kegs at individual pressures for carbing or serving

    Grapefruit APA

I used a sanitized fork and brushed it against the peel to make small cuts to release oils

    Grapefruit APA

I've "dry hopped" 5.5 pounds of grapefruit before and it came out well. Soaked them in starsan, then scored the rind, quartered, and tossed them in. 7 days later I transferred to the keg
