    American IPA "Northeast" style IPA

Used the recipe in this thread. Turned out delicious. First pull off the keg. Still carbonating but it is a tasty beer. Used Marris Otter instead of Golden Promise as the LHBS was out. The beer looks more brown in the picture than what it really is.

American Wheat Beer Gumballhead inspired WPA

Once the beer cleared up in my keg, it seemed to have a lot better cleaner crisper flavor

American Wheat Beer Gumballhead inspired WPA

Brewed this past weekend. Fermenting now around 62-63 degrees. Using the grain bill from the first page I was a little low on my sugar extraction. I hit 1.046, which was spot on with what my brewing software said. Depending how it tastes I will add a bit more grain next time.

    Oatmeal Stout Oatmeal Stout

Put it in the keg today. Naturally carbonating it because the keezer is full. The hydro sample was great!

American Pale Ale Cascades / Orange Pale Ale

Just finished this brewing this beer. It the OG came out under from what I was expecting not sure what happend as it is the first time it has happend. I did go to a different LHBS with a new grinder so that could be. OG was 1.050. It is in my fermentation chamber set at a 62 degree temp. Cannot...

American Pale Ale Cascades / Orange Pale Ale

Brewing tomorrow for my birthday beer on August 13th. I know it will be close but will definitely be ready towards the end of August. Ferment for 3 weeks, and keg for one. I am sure it will be drinkable.

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

Drinking the hefe right now. It appears darker than what it really is in the picture. Is a straw yellow color. I fermented with WLP300 because the LHBS does not carry Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan. Comparing this beer to one I had at a bar I do not hardly have any banana flavor. Is this beer...

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

I used white wheat instead of german wheat for this recipe. I pull my first pint off the keg. I fermented for 10 days and it has been carbing for 5. My beer is pretty white, is that normal being this fresh? Or does it have to do with the type of wheat I used? It still tasted pretty good. Maybe...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

Wow, Tried this off the keg the other night for the first time. All of my BMC friends will love it. I cannot believe how light this tastes! I might have to do this one for my brother in laws wedding. Definitely a gateway beer, personally I think it needs a bit more flavor ;)

Blonde Ale Centennial Blonde (Simple 4% All Grain, 5 & 10 Gall)

Might make this for my brother in laws wedding. Making the test batch this weekend!

Belgian Blond Ale SWMBO Slayer - Belgian Blonde

It has been on tap for about a month now. It is pretty clear drinking beer. I had a bluemoon from a bar last night and it was super cloudy. You can easily see through the SWMBO. Just want to make sure I hit the style right.

Belgian Blond Ale SWMBO Slayer - Belgian Blonde

This has been in my keg for awhile and is really clear. Should this beer be clear or should I swirl the keg a bit to get the yeast back into suspension.

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

I did adjust the Hop adjustments based on the AAU's. I have family coming over for Christmas tonight and will have a little tasting session. Curious to see if they come up with the same conclusion. All of my numbers were really good. The only thing possible in question would be my digital...

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

Good to know it should not be like an IPA. For some reason I thought an APA would have a bit of hop character to it as well. It finished off at 1.012 so I did not expect sweetness as well. Maybe that is not the flavor I am tasting.

American Pale Ale Bee Cave Brewery Haus Pale Ale

Had this last night for the first time off my keg. I thought it would have been a lot hoppier. Not even close to my IPA. This beer also tasted quite a bit sweeter than I thought it would have. Sure would be nice to compare it to someone else's batch so I know If I am there or not.
