    Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

    And to update mine....it's now drinkable. Tastes more like a cross between a red ale and a lager. Nothing like an Irish Red Ale, and nothing at all like what I was going for, but I can at least drink it and somewhat enjoy it. Some experiments work out better than others I guess.

    Well, when you do go to SLO let me know. The CCB core beers are quite good but Brendan, their head brewer has moved on....but only across town where he has his own brewery now, Liquid Gravity. That would be my number 1 stop, followed by There Does Not Exist (also SLO), and then CCB.

    I'm at work now but from memory that's fairly close to mine. I had a small amount of chocolate malt in addition.

    Sounds delicious. I wish that one was local to me. My wife’s maiden name is Rossi, and her father was a firefighter for a time.

    Grapefruit Pale Ale from a local brewery. Picked up this growler Sunday. Good stuff.

    Schwarzbier - Examples in the Midwest

    I designed and brewed a pseudo-Schwarzbier recipe based on a few recipes I saw online. Since I'm not set up to easily ferment at lager temps I fermented with Lutra Kveik yeast. This was brewed and kegged back in early September, but only recently hitting it's prime. Looks a bit darker than it...

    CCB’s GABF award winning Monterey St Pale Ale. Grapefruit version. Damned delicious.

    Not in the mail but I went and picked this up this morning. Used 7cu ft GE chest freezer. Time to build a keezer.
