    Kegerator line and ball valves

I added a smaller choker line at my tower, as my draft lines were 3/16 or smaller stainless and in had to step down the 1/4. I would think adding then at the keg is better and you can start with 8 or so feet and cut down as needed. I have been running my long draw system for 6 years, happy...

    Kegerator line and ball valves

Chicompany is probably your best. https://www.chicompany.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=375_86_87&products_id=2422 I use Eaton brand 1/4. I will warn you, my 27 ft hold about a beer. After a week or two of sitting in the line, you will start to see oxidation.

Using an inline filter when kegging

I first used the .2 mm screen. It would clog faster. I switched to the .4 and it is much better. I run it opposite of its suggested direction so I can vent the air out of the round top. I have debated drilling the holes bigger so there is more screen surface area.

Using an inline filter when kegging

I use the brew hardware wort strainer. Works good. Have had some clogging issues where flow slows. Sometimes I would disassemble and clean and be back in business. https://www.brewershardware.com/FILTER1.html?category_id=295 I use it on 10g batches,

I got a 20# in a similar situation, used it, no issues. What could crept into a highly pressurized tank.

DIY/poor man's floating diptube for clear beer

Correct you should get foam or gas. Hose plugged? Maybe push c02 through the hose to clear out any blockage

DIY/poor man's floating diptube for clear beer

Is the input in the filter floating? Maybe you need a weight to ensure the hose not level and is below the surface

How much line cooling do I need?

With the fridge and 45 degree, the beer in the line was not all dumpers. It was for the most part fine, little foam at the start. Little less carbonated.

How much line cooling do I need?

Also, I use cheap Hing Kong submersible pump, they add heat to the solution, might get better efficiency moving that outside the cool applicance for the water loop.

How much line cooling do I need?

Hate to say, but a cold liquid loop is prob required, does not have to be glycol, a mini fridge, 12$ pond pump and old keg worked for my 27 ft for a while. Lowest line temp I could get was 45ish. I had some foaming issues and c02 lose in beer as keg temp was 35-38. Change in temp affected...
