Will this cheap 3500 watt induction burner work?

Just thought I would say hello to you guys again. I have been using these burners for several months now and really like them. I use 2 side by side to brew 2 things at a time. I also supplement power with a heat stick. I've brewed 5 and 10 gallon batches in them and the heating needs is not...

very nice! glad to hear and yes upping the hops on this recipe would be a good idea to compare to current IPAs out there.

Prototype Previews: Hopback and Heat Stick

I have used my hot rod and have a few comments. It took me quite some time to assemble the thing, getting the cable down too a bit of work but wasn't that bad. The majority of the time was spent fiddling with the ground wire. I used 12g wire and it was considerably small for the wire crimper...

    victory prima pilsner

buy 5 gallons of prima pils, put in your kettle, boil for 1 minute, cool down, put in storage vessel and carbonate. On the serious side, this recipe has a lot of things with it that are going to come out way different when trying to go to extract. The best you could do is use pilsner...

American Porter Bert Grant's Perfect Porter tribute

the smoke level on this should be barely detectable, it should be at the level of someone who doesn't know the grain bill would possibly not know or be trying to figure what it was.

    Tart of Darkness

couple questions to those that have brewed this. what is the anticipated OG of this kit? I put this into beersmith and is estimating a 24 SRM, that is pretty low for a stout, what are others getting, this is with 450L chocolate and 300L roasted barley

Either way, just be cautious how much you're adding. I believe it was 1 tsp for 5 gallons but that will be fairly subtle.

    Soldering Stainless steel

yes this seems to work well, just make sure you have a descent dimple started

    Soldering Stainless steel

well I got some couplers put in with a bit of trouble on the dimple. The couplers that I bought are a bit thinner than the norm I guess becuase the pipe fitting reducer made a hole too big for them :(, luckily I still have my hold rid and just swapped out one on a weldless fitting where size is...

FYI, the vanilla extract is totally a optional thing too, I would take a sample, try with and without and see what you like and go from there if you want to add it.

I kept it the same last time and will do the same this time too, I live in a different area with soft water so I will need to make sure to add some temporary hardness to buffer all the dark malt in this but that's about it.
