Ever drink your beer in the shower?

#powershower I enjoy them most after mowing the lawn or a workout.

American Porter Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

Also, taste it and if the flavor isn't strong enough, just add a tablespoon of extract into the keg or bottling bucket.

American Porter Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

I've made quite a few stouts and porters with vanilla and to be honest I don't take very good notes... with that said, I usually split, scrap and cut into 1" pieces 2 vanilla beans. I soak them in vanilla vodka for a day or two and add them into a secondary. The longer the better for me...

American Porter Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

Mine keeps getting better with time. It had some slight off tastes when fresh, but that could have been my setup and process. It is one of the best beers I've ever made at this point, but it's also about 6 months old. I have a nice back log of beers so I can afford to spend time when needed.

American Porter Bee Cave Brewery Robust Porter

Here's a pic of mine. I made it with vanilla and am serving on nitro. Very tasty, I'm proud to have brewed this one.

I made the recipe as is, but I added vanilla in the secondary. I have it on a nitro tap and it is delicious. Thanks for the recipe. Now it's time to relax and enjoy.

My first recipe. I call it Citra Moon. It's the blue moon recipe with late Citra hops and citra dry hops. I like it a lot and it has been well recieved.

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

Well, that taste has almost gone away and my father in-law (who hates craft beer and anything without bud light written on it) said it wasn't bad. That is a win in my book. Everyone else has loved it. I also made centennial blonde so it will replace the 3 crops when its gone. I think one of...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

It's not bad enough for me to add hops. It's just a slight taste. Most people have liked the beer. It's not a bad thing to compare it to Heineken. The flavor is crisp and clean, no after or lingering flavors. Just that slight skunk taste. One of my friends said it tasted like a version...

Cream Ale Cream of Three Crops (Cream Ale)

I made this some time back and tried it for the first time last weekend. Mine came out tasting like a mixture of Miller Lite and Heineken. Slight skunky taste. I'm not sure how this happened since my ferm chamber allows no light. Straight to the keg to carb. Is this the normal flavor...

    Force Carbing Stout

Method 2 is immediate. When you shake the keg you are constantly mixing the CO2 into beer. So chill the beer for 24 hours and then shake/roll for as long as you can. Once no more gas will enter the keg, you are good to go. The beer flavor may need time to condition, but it will be carbed...

    Force Carbing Stout

There are a few ways to force carb beer. The easiest way is to hook up your keg and set the pressure to the match the desired carb volume. Refer to the below link. Carb Chart For a Stout or Porter at 44F you will need to set your pressure between 5 and 10. This is personal preference. If...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Triple brew day at my buddy's. I made a hopped blue moon recipe. They made a black IPA and a Scottish ale.
