Another Cornelius Keg Question - Gluing Handles back on

I wish I had read this earlier too. At work, we found that 190° water WILL remove the handle from a Corny. We also tried Gorilla Glue with no success. I'd try the marine epoxy. We just got more kegs... :cross:

Is a homebrew buzz uniquely euphoric?

It's the B Complex vitamins from the yeast that make you feel good. Commercial brews are filtered and do not have any. You get the same good feeling from a B Complex vitamin...and a few beers! :drunk:

can you reuse metal bottle caps if you don't crease/bend them?

It would be impossible to remove a cap from a bottle in good enough condition to be able to reuse it effectively. Seems silly to me anyway. :drunk:

You know what pisses me off? SAME-DIFFERENCE!

Okay, some regionals for you from the great state of Mississippi that I hear all the time: "Might can" - I might can install this satelite dish with a .22 "Make groceries" - I'm going to Walmart to make groceries, the pantry is empty "Look at TV" - What'd you do last night? I looked at...

    Fly sparging WO sparge arm?

I drilled 1/16" holes, off center so I have two rows of holes just about a quarter inch up each side. This causes the water to trickle out from each side and meet up on the middle of the bottom of the pipe to then drop into the mash tun; making for a more random sprinkle pattern. I get no...

I work for Lazy Magnolia and our Marketing guy was there, but I had to stay at the brewery and move and setup some tanks yesterday, so no go. Haven't heard a report back yet, how was it?

    Fly sparging WO sparge arm?

For a few bucks and a little time, you can make one out of CPVC pretty easily...and it sounds cool too! I get 84% eff. on average with this thing. :cross:

    Blow-off tube haunting me

I think I can clear this up real quick... I use airlocks on my primary, for primary fermentation...when the yeast is the most active. It appears you use a blow off tube for primary, which means you must use an airlock for secondary, where there is less activity. Less activity, less...

    Blow-off tube haunting me

They need to be three piece and you need to use the lid that comes with them. The sound comes from the bubbles trying to get through the tiny littles holes in them. Also, no need to mix it strong, just the prescribed amount. :cross:

    Volume of Stored Grain

Yeah, those aren't actually the ones I have and yes, I agree that they're not perfectly air tight, but the gaskets on mine compress nicely when you latch them down and I'm perfectly happy with the amount of semi air tightness that they give me. I doubt most bugs could get in as well. I...

    Blow-off tube haunting me

Or for some real fun, you could put StarSan in the airlock, as seen in this thread: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=49464 :cross:

    Volume of Stored Grain

I use a container very close to these, only the lids are tan colored on mine, to hold up to a 55lb bag of grain (there is actually a room to spare where I keep my pre-weighed specialty grains). http://www.google.com/products?q=rolling+pet+food+bin&um=1&ie=UTF-8 The ones I have say they're...
