    Ok, what you are witnessing is a Venturi rig... The wort is actually being PULLED into the carboy by vacuum and the cooling water is supplying the force to 'suck' the wort into the carboy. Do a search on "Wort Wizard" or "Venturi" and I'm sure you'll be happily rewarded! :drunk:

    Leftovers IPA - critiques please.

    I guess I'd rather taste the hops than smell them as well as keep the IBU's up. If it's smell you're after, I'd go out and get another ounce, probably two and dry hop. :cross: The REAL problem is that we're trying to put a full size sheet on a queen size bed! :drunk:

    I've noticed no difference between the two. I use Rahr for the base malt in all the recipes that have plenty of specialty malt and Marris Otter or Pale Ale when there isn't alot of specialty matls added. I find the results quite good, if I do say so myself... :cross:
