    The IPA, an inquiry

Just remember that if you add more malt, you will have to add more hops to balance it out. Maybe you should just make a double IPA since that is a style that is clearly defined... that way you can see if it's too much, and then back off and find a compromise. I have a double IPA partial mash...

    No-Knead Bread

I know some people here enjoy bread making as much as they enjoy brewing, so I thought this article from the New York Times might be of interest. A baker in NYC came up with a way to make good bread at home without kneading...

    Sam Adams Winter Classics

Yeah the Cranberry Lambic is more of a cranberry pale ale. I thought the Old Fezziwig Ale was terrible last time I bought this case. Never had the porter, I might have to check it out just for that.

    Buying supplies on line

I started a thread to compile all these sites a while ago: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=701 I suppose I should update it...

    Top 10 Beer Cities - msnbc.com

Yeah, and the reason they give is that it's close to Montreal and Boston. How about just picking one of those two cities then?

Added WYeast Propagator directly into batch without using the starter!

Here's the best tip I can give you... don't worry so much! I was the same way when I started, but it seems that in homebrewing, things almost always work out for the best no matter what you do.

    Least favorite style?

Some people might think I'm crazy, but I'm not a big fan of Belgian Wits. I don't really like "banana esters" in my beer... if I wanted to taste bananas, I would eat a banana!

Added WYeast Propagator directly into batch without using the starter!

It should be fine, it will probably just take an extra day like you said.

Comprehensive list of malts and specialty grains

I don't have a website for you but there are good charts in the back of Beer Captured and How to Brew (I think).

Pfft, who reads that site? Those guys are all idiots :)

    How often do you brew?

2 batches a month for me, although there are some times when I'll take a month off, especially in hot-as-hell July or cold-as-hell January

    How much do you brew

10 gal/month for me, although I just bought another secondary so I should be able to do 20 gal/month now. I'm not sure if I WANT to brew that much though :)

    Good Beer Reading Online?

Some days I fall into a rut at work and need a distraction. Lately I've been distracting myself with some articles on beer and homebrewing. I picked through all of this month's BYO articles online, and then read some interviews with PA brewers like Troegs and Victory on Lew Bryson's website...

    Any cheaper alternatives to brewing?

I posted in another thread that I found a good deal on bulk dry malt extract:
