How do you prevent hop muck from getting into bottles?

@bikermatt I use to drive volvos mostly. I now operate a liquid nitrogen plant. @RPh_Guy I kinda poured and some got poured and some stayed in the stainless pot. I guess I was just being lazy and didn't think it would hurt.

How do you prevent hop muck from getting into bottles?

I'm reading this guessing I did it all wrong. I have a 1 gallon primary and I just poured everything from the brewing pot into it. Maybe I should have tried to strain everything? Maybe its not too late and I can strain after I ferment? Its been about a week in the fermenter.

What direction should I go after first brew with mini 1 gallon fermenter?

What is a tried and true recipe example? I have heard mead is horrible tasting although I have never tried it. Cider sounds interesting, but haven't tried that either.

What direction should I go after first brew with mini 1 gallon fermenter?

How does that work? Are you saying it is possible to ferment in a bottle? I thought an airlock was a necessity? I don't quite understand the process but I am familiar with aerobes and anaerobes. I am just thinking that would be hard to clean? Maybe there is a trick to cleaning bottle with a...

What direction should I go after first brew with mini 1 gallon fermenter?

I guess I am confused what the difference is between a recipe kit and BIAB(brew in a bag)? Does the LHBS usually carry that type of stuff? I'm in Oklahoma City so I'm sure there are a couple.

What direction should I go after first brew with mini 1 gallon fermenter?

My wife bought me a mancrate beer kit as a gift for Valentine's day. I cooked it up in my 2 gallon stainless stock pot and I have been fermenting for around 3 days now. My question is: Where should I go from here? My main reason for not acquiring a bunch of brewing equipment was lack of...

What do I need for this 1 gallon kit?

My wife got me this kit: http://www.mancrates.com/projects/micro-brewed-kit I wasn't sure what else I needed to get going. I think I am missing a pot and bottles? Is there a foolproof guide? What has hindered me in the past is I don't really have a great sink to clean up. I live in a...

Can I use HFCS or Sucrose for anything?

The American Medical Association in June 2008 helped put to rest a common misunderstanding about high fructose corn syrup and obesity, stating that "high fructose syrup does not appear to contribute to obesity more than other caloric sweeteners." Even former critics of high fructose syrup...

Can I use HFCS or Sucrose for anything?

So how much HFCS would I use in the typical 5 gallon batch? The sucrose I was talking about is melted down to a syrup. I don't know if that makes a difference?

    A few more questions

I have the el cheapo, coil stove with oven below. Do your bottles normally age outside of the fridge? At what point do you refrigerate them? Do people on here drink warm beer normally? I'm a cold beer drinker.
