    Tattoo?

I have two. On my left upper arm I have a medicine feather with beads representing the 4 primary directions (E, S, W, N). On my right upper arm I have a wolf standing in front of a full moon with an eagle in silouette across the moon. They are both all black except for the beads on the medicine...

    Paging Chairman Cheyco

Hell yeah! Here in Louisiana, accordians are essential to the cajun and zydeco music.

    Paging Chairman Cheyco

Here's one with the Alvarez acoustic. I got it in 1979. I'll try to get some of the electrics when I get a chance. My amp, by the way, is an old Music Man 112 RD. I'm not sure what year it was made. It's not pictured here.

    Paging Chairman Cheyco

I have 3 guitars (Alvarez acoustic, Epiphone Les Paul copy, Epiphone Strat copy), but I haven't taken pictures. Here's one of my banjo, though. I've also got a mandolin and a dulcimer. Yes, I play them all!

Explain your handle / De construct your avatar

LouisianaVince. I know that's a tough one. My name is Vince, and guess where I live! My avatar simply illustrates one of the MANY wonderful applications of our hobby. What goes better with pizza than a frosty mug of beer? :mug:

I used the rolling pin to suspend the nylon hops back, keeping it from resting on the bottom of the pot. This is my Pete's Wicked Ale clone.

Several Labels - Pics (not dialup friendly)

Great labels! I love the simplicity and the music theme. I take it you're a musician?

    Blood Red Ale

Good name! I'm thinking it would have to be a brown ale.

    Blood Red Ale

Thank you! Glad you like it. And you're close. I used Powerpoint and Wordart. I'm more of a presentations and wordsmithing guy than a spreadsheet guy, although I do use Excel a lot at work. What do you use, now? If I could remember where I found that image, I'd add a little artist credit. Like...

    Nuclear Carboy??

Well, if anything falls off after I drink beer I brew in it, I'll let y'all know!

    Blood Red Ale

You're amazingly accurate with the pin sticking! Gris Gris (pronounced Gree Gree) is used loosley to describe Voodoo dolls, charms and talismans. Specifically, it's been used for a particular type of Voodoo that is reputed to be more powerful than traditional Voodoo. Since I live in Baton Rouge...

Thanks, Breaux. And if the owner of the image wants it removed, I will happily do so. However, I have doubts the owner of the image is likely to ever see it. But who knows?

    Blood Red Ale

I haven't brewed the beer yet, but my next batch will be an Irish Red Ale. I'm thinking about something like this for a label. So far, I haven't put labels on my beer. The image, by the way, was "borrowed" off something...somewhere... Are there legal issues with that?

    Redstick Brewmasters Meeting

The monthly meeting of the Redstick Brewmasters will take place tomorrow night (Feb. 1) at George's Southside in Baton Rouge, LA. If you're in the area and interested in attending, let me know and I'll get you some details. Good group of local brewers.

    Kid Food

My kids are older now...19 and 17. With my daughter (17), it's fried eggs and toast, but with my son (19), it's hot wings! Of course, boiled crawfish gets everyone involved.
