3 section fermentation chamber with ebay temp controller

What are your plans for the freezer itself and the upper area? Are you going to have kegs in the freezer with taps and they store bottles in the area above?

    VR8200A questions

The Honeywell valves are low pressure (11" wc for propane) so you need a low pressure (11") regulator before the valve or you will damage it.

Anyone using a 6" vortex inline with a 4" reducer?

I recommend checking out this site: http://www.freecalc.com/ductloss.htm This will let you enter your duct length / size and the number of reducers and elbows and it will tell you how much loss you'll have.

Help me complete the electronic components in my Brutus 10 build

Here are my recommendations: Power Cord to Control Panel - Get yourself an outdoor 14/3 extension cord. This will have a 13A rating and should be more than enough to power two pumps and the controls. Cut the female end off and wire it to terminal blocks inside the control panel for hot /...

    Brewstand blueprints?

Search the site for "Brutus". You'll find lots of examples and some have dimensions. You should also check out: http://www.alenuts.com/Alenuts/brutus.html, the original Brutus. There is a back issue of BYO magazine where the Brutus plans were published. http://www.byo.com/photos/category/13

My new brew system, a brutus 10 with some nice modifications

Yep, the 85v is just the minimum it can be powered from. No point in getting a transformer. Just power it with 110v.

My new brew system, a brutus 10 with some nice modifications

When you say "at least 85 volts" I'm not sure what you mean. You're going to have 110v going though the cable back to the main panel. I'd recommend against running 110v and low voltage signal wires such as RTDs in the same cable. You risk noise issues. One alternative would be to put a 24 or...

How to label faucets when you have 8 beers on tap?

After looking at the metal ones again, it appears they also have an insert that goes in them for labeling. Still pretty nice looking though.

How to label faucets when you have 8 beers on tap?

Kal, Not sure if you've seen these. Tap Handles The BOD ones allow you to print an insert that goes inside the tap handle. I have three of these on my kegerator and love them. You could print up your numbered sheets and have the taps labeled 1-8. They're available with plastic or metal...

    Single Tier Brew Stand Build

Just from what I've read, it seems the BG-14 might be overkill for an MLT. I'll be recirculating with the pump and direct firing the MLT. Some seem to thing the Bg-14 is oversized for this. Sitting in an airport coming home from a business trip at the moment. Drinking Sweet Water IPA. I'll...

    Single Tier Brew Stand Build

Thanks. Getting some things ordered and moving along. Got the burners ordered. Ended up going with the BG-14 for the HLT and kettle and the BG-12 for the MLT. Ordered all from AgriSupply. Not really concerned about the wind shields blocking airflow. If you google the Blickmann Engineering...

Brew Stand Propane Supply Hose Question

Understand the regulator would be attached to the tank when in use. I'm more concerned about when not in use. I'd prefer the regulator be permanently attached to the stand so it's not on the end of a loose hose that could end up falling on the ground and getting banged up. At any rate, I...
