    Cheapest Way To Make Cider

I say well done, some people are put off homebrewing because they think it will cost a lot of money, as you've proved, you dont need to! As others have pointed out, airlocks are cheap, but if like me you'd need them posted them it works out more expensive, which is the same for other equipment...

    My Fireball Mead Attempt

15 gallons of honey  maybe you mean lbs? :D I've got a mini brew of this on, just in a 2l plastic bottle. 1.5lb of honey, no tea (couldn't find it either), 5 fireballs in secondary, and I'm gonna put a cinnamon stick in it shortly. I imagine it will taste rank, but it's mainly for a...

    Nutrition with the Honey addition?

The only time I'd consider honey to be a "health" product is when I have a sore throat, and a spoonful is soothing to eat. Honey may also have some antibacterial properties and it can be used on a small cut if nothing else is available to clean it, though I'm not sure if it actually works...

Milk-Mead (a spin on koumiss) instruction, recipe & info

this looks both disgusting and amazing all at the same time, I may have to try it! if only I could have had it ready for Game of Thrones starting in March... is it possible that lactose free semi skimmed milk would work? it seems to be all I can get here. there'd probably be more wastage...

how do you bottle your mead?

I never really though of using beer bottles, I've bottled most of my meads and wines in wine bottles... with screw caps... hopefully they'll be okay like that. I might start doing some in beer bottles so it's easier to taste without opening as whole big bottle and having to drink it all. I like...

    dark forest fruit,

I'm quite new to mead brewing, but have just racked a forest fruit melomel. there were cherries in there too, not sure what they'll do to the taste. I used about a pound and a half of frozen fruit in one gallon, it fermented in under 2 weeks and was almost clear at racking time a week later. I...
