    It's gone :(

I killed off my last 22 ozer of my IIPA last night. As they say, it was the tastiest of them all and I can't wait to brew it again. Going to do a SN Pale Ale clone next, the gf says she likes hops but not as much as in the IIPA yet, she did say yet though :D

    Call me an a$$ but....

And that is an excellent idea, matter a fact I only give people samples unless I know they're an appreciator of beer. With my bro he'll drink it just the same, even if he doesn't like it, which is great but with the IIPA being my fav I just couldn't part with one of my last six to someone who...

    Call me an a$$ but....

It all comes down to him just drinking for the drunk. He's a Sailor Jerry drinker, and that's why he drinks, just to get drunk. Myself and several of my close friends drink beer for the taste, the buzz is just an added bonus. He isn't a beer drinker at all or whatsoever, which is why I...

    Call me an a$$ but....

I s'pose I shouldn't be so hard on him. I think my biggest problem was that it is my favorite, and it was my first, and there was only a 6'er left. I have now seen the errors of my ways, I feel a conversion coming soon.

    Call me an a$$ but....

The thing with that is, I gave him a sip of my Stone IPA about three weeks before that and wanted me to put salt in it and give him the rest. The look on his face when he drinks a good beer reminds me of a 14 yr old trying to look like he likes the taste of his first Bud, lol :drunk:. So I...

    Call me an a$$ but....

Ok, so my first two batches were an Irish Stout and an IIPA. I loved both of them and everyone I bestowed them upon liked them as well. My beloved brother is however not an appreciator of beer, he'll try one simply because I brewed it but he does not really enjoy the flavor, he just drinks to...

OMG - My wife likes my beer!!

I lucked out, my gf loves beer. She's into the same styles I am, doesn't like the sweet too much and loves the hops.......oh, I'm in love.

The best advice from an old person

My dad's friend would tell me this: "Women are like buses, one comes along every fifteen minutes. My favorite sticker: "I don't care how good looking she is, somebody somewhere is tired of her ****".

my bar build-tracking my progress here-

That is so awesome, this is exactly what I want to do to my future house. The bar room any way not necessarily the theme, but I think that looks hella good.

    Brewing in Pairs

I brew with my good buddy, he got into brewing a few years ago while I was married and not allowed to hang with him. Now that I'm free I bought my own equipment and we brew together. It's funny cause he brewed probly only 4 or 5 batches in the two years he was brewing and right after I bought...

    I blame all of you.

I got lucky with my gf. She loves hoppy, stout, and basically whatever is beer she likes to drink. Sometimes she brings over a natty or PBR, she says she likes to drink one of those before a good one so it will REALLY tastes good. That and she likes my motorcycle, I think I've found my keeper.

    Hershey Squirts

    Austin Homebrew I salute you.

Lol you never know, he just might be a metro sexual who likes his hands to look fantastic ;)

    Quick question before tomorrows brew.

Don't worry about sanitizing your water before you start brewing seeing as how you're going to bring it to a boil anyway. When cooling the wort in the sink I use a sterilized whisk to stir the wort to help aerate and cool at the same time, it took my cooling time down to 10-12 min from 20 and...

How many bottles do you have?

I just started brewing but I've been saving my bottles for about 6 months, I'd say I have around 150-200 and combined with the girlfriend around 250. Mostly Sierra Nevada or Cut Throats.

    IPA's

I got the Hop Head Double IPA from Midwest and it just finished on Sunday, being a hop lover myself I think this one might suit you more. This recipe does call for dry hopping two oz. of leaf hops. It has a good pine smell with a nice citrus undertone and dry finish, really yummy :) Here's a...
