    1st time all grain recipes?

Good luck with your first batch. Keep it simple; batch sparge, SIM, etc. I disagree with with the fact that dark beers hide flaws more. If you miss your temps on any style it can affect taste. As long as you hit your temps and water/grain ratios you will be ok.

Are there any burners out there designed to be mounted on a brew stand or do they have to be fabricated??

Brewday June 2th still in carboy

As long as it was kept at a stable temp, out of light, and wasn't oxygenated it should be OK

Some pics of my brew day

Is that brown sugar I see? I would think that would make cider off tastes. I may be wrong...

My first AG brew day, and my new MLT...with pics!

My solder job didn't come out well either. The good thing about solder is you can heat it back up, wipe it off and then apply again. LESS IS MORE when soldering.

    Brew Stand Build **PICS**

To start off I'm on a strict budget and don't have welding skills. I got this AV cart from work. It looked bigger until I got it home and put my keggles and cooler on it. I haven't AG brewed yet, I'm still piecing the equipment together. I'm thinking it's too cramped but maybe it could work...

Stainless Steel 15 gallon pot....should i drill into it for valve?

Make sure you use a titanium step bit and cutting oil. Drill a pilot hole first. It is really, really easy. bargainfittings.com has good weldless ball valves.
