Spice, Herb, or Vegetable Beer Jalapeno Cream Ale

Did a batch of this per the recipe, one of the best beers I've made- great roasted jalapeno flavor and a light spice flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

    My favorite country songs

If only I were smart enough to post a you tube link... Statler Brothers, Flowers on the Wall counting flowers on the wall, that don't bother me at all, playing Solitaire til dawn, with a deck of 51, smoking cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo, now don't tell me I've nothing to...

    3 tap mini keezer

I finished a keezer with the same design and same approx size (5 cu ft) about a month ago- hinges on the collar topped with a piece of plywood instead of the original lid. Seemed like a good way to get the alignment correct. I used 1" foam board and caulked all the joints, doesn't cycle on and...

    Show us your Kegerator

It's a Frigidaire, not sure of the model- it's a few years old and i bought it on CL for $40. It works great, haven't had any issues with it and has a decent amount of room for how small it is. I just started kegging, and I'm sure I will eventually get the "bigger is better" bug, but for now it...

Beer with most easily removed labels

Ithaca labels come off easily- someone gave me some Amstel Light bottles that i threw away- nightmare! Also dead on with the Southern Tier- great beer and easy labels to remove.

    Show us your Kegerator

It's from a soft serve ice cream machine a friend didn't need. I glued a piece of wood with countersunk screws facing out to the side of the freezer. The holes in the tray line up and I use wing nuts for easy on & off for cleaning until I get the plumbing hooked up.

    Show us your Kegerator

Small 5 cubic ft keezer- had to go small, I don't have a lot of room for something larger. It fits 3 kegs, currently have 2 on co2 and plan on adding nitrogen for a tap in the center. I drilled and plugged the center tap hole so I have no choice but to add on!

My first all grain brew, BIAB method, with pics...

Put your thermometer stem in a glass with ice water- more ice than water (60/40ish) and it should read 32 deg F

    Condensation in Keezer

In the Jan/Feb issue of Zymurgy they have a gadget article and someone submitted that they use plastic Chinese food containers- a lid with 3/8" drilled holes that attaches to the bottom of the container drilled with 1/16" holes. A shallow layer of ice melt is put in the bottom of the container...

    Slightly Trashy Mill Station

Here is how it looks all together- gonna start out using the hand crank to get in shape for golf season (blatant lie- after knocking down the wist list definitely gonna invest in a drill to run it). Also looks like I need to straighten my Guinness print! Cheers!

    Slightly Trashy Mill Station

I used a 5"-4" reducer for a grain chute into the bucket with the edge notched to get it to set as close as possible to the mill. I was going to run screws through the sides of the bucket, but I wanted the top to be removable. I drilled pilot holes and used plastic screw anchors and screws for...

    Slightly Trashy Mill Station

I've been doing extract/steeping grain home brew for almost a year, and it's time to move to partial mash & all grain. I bought a Victoria mill to grind steeping grains, so to start with it is what I'll use for grinding grain. I have seen a few set ups like this on here, so I decided to give it...

    5 Cu Ft Keezer Build

Faucet holes cut and the faucets temporarily mounted- now some insulation, running lines,... Cut an extra hole to add an additional faucet in the future- thinking creamer with nitrogen. Not sure if this is just a bad fantasy idea, but I can always add without nitrogen after doing enough research...
