    Kombucha alcohol content

    Sounds like you are doing all the right things. I'm considering going commercial as well. What testers are you using for alcohol content?

    How did you find us?

    I searched for "over-sweetened Kombucha" and found a thread. Needless to say I added too much sugar to this batch and was trying to find some information to fix it.

    Hi all! I recently started brewing Kombucha on Grand Bahama Island. I'm on my 5th batch which I think I over-sweetened which led me to this forum (there is a thread on over sweetening). Hoping to gather some knowledge and share my own as well!

    Kombucha too sweet after 30+ days, scoby active

    You need to use MAJORITY black tea. Green tea is okay but I wouldn't use any more than 20% green tea in the first fermentation.
