    Home Bar Kegerator

So we removed all the 70's looking mirror glass and the ugly looking plywood that covered the bar. We are working on finishing the sheetrock and painting. We did receive all the parts to finish the kegerator last week. I took a pic of the drip tray, I was quite impressed for only a $30 drip...

    Mash / Lauter Tun Problems

Or I would go get some 3" stainless steel bolts and make some legs to lift up the false bottom to a level above you ballooning. I know what you mean, on my 10 gallon tun the sides balloon inwards.

    Home Bar Kegerator

So we made a small work bench in the storage room last weekend for those cold winter days we don't have to be in the non-heated garage. The refrigerator had to be placed on a sheet of plywood since the cooling coils are on the bottom of the fridge. I pulled the fan unit out and cleaned and...

    Home Bar Kegerator

Ok, so I finally go a fridge for this project.. I tried finding a free one. After, spending the last 3 months stalking the classified ads for free fridges, I finally gave in a bought one. I should have done it long before since I found it for only $25. I also ordered some parts to finish the...

    Home Bar Kegerator

My parents are bring me a bunch of old street signs from my hometown. I'm thinking of taking out all the old 70's looking mirror glass and hanging the street signs in there place. I still have not found a fridge yet. I have called on several of them but no replies.

    Home Bar Kegerator

I appreciate the idea. I have thought it over about running the beer line out the fridge and through an insulation. The squirrel fan I'm not much of a fan for. I want the least amount of maintenance on this thing, I know running fans and constructing the fan to blow cold air into the piping...

    Found Beer!

I've been lugging around cases of 22oz bottles for the last 4 years and that consisted of about 5 different moves. My wife thinks I crazy but in the back of my mind is filling them with yummy treats.

    I broke the law.

I was on the same track this weekend. I brewed up a 5 gal batch of pale ale and drank dr.pepper all during it. When, I had 15 mins left in my boil I realized what I was doing and thought this isn't right. So, then on was bud light.

Suffocation? (Did I ruin my batch)

Your lucky that it sounds like it killed the yeast down otherwise you would have had a giant beer bomb go off and a huge mess. If nothing happens I would just pitch another yeast packet and give it a week to 10 then into the secondary. Otherwise a hydrometer test would tell you. I used a...

    Home Bar Kegerator

I currently purchased a home with a bar already built in. My wife is currently looking around for a free fridge dedicated entirely to beer. The plan is to place the fridge behind the bar in the storage room. Our idea is to place the fridge directly against the storage wall and run the lines...

Colorado Springs brewers, where do you get your CO2?

I also fill mine at Acme Fire and Safety, it's right off of Nevada and 1-25 sort of. I think last time I filled up I need a hydro test with it and the total was like $25 or something usually only a $1 a pound. If you drop your tank off in the morning or I believe before 2pm. because they do...

    Corny Keg Lids

I just picked up 6 corny kegs from the scrap yard yesterday for a pretty good price, the only thing is none of them have lids. I have searched the web but many of you may know where to find some a little bit cheaper to keep this investment cheap. So far everybody seems to want around $20 a...
