    Slasher IPA

Since my girlfriend was doing the supposed heavy handed capping that night, I should just ask her to back off the steroids a bit? Thanks for the help. I just checked a few more of the beers and they seemed to be fine, and they didn't inflict any bodily harm. :mug:

    Slasher IPA

I know its only 11am, but I'm drinking the first bottle of my IPA because of a little accident. The bottles have been carbonating for 6 days, so I decided to look at them and turn one around a few times to watch the yeast float around, and when I turned the bottle upside down it made a fizzing...

    Pitching on a yeast cake

I am also wondering how long a yeast cake can be in a fermenter before being reused, and is cleaning up the krauzen (?) stains from before a issue? I have a IPA and a bitter fermenting now, and I would like to pitch a imperial stout into the IPA cake and a pale ale into the bitter cake. The...

    Yeast question + bottling question

I made my first two HB's this past Sunday, and they are vigorously fermenting away in my basement while I relax and watch south park. I went with the Palace Bitter, and Palilalia IPA recipes from TCJOHB. I used Wyeast 1335 Brit Ale II for the bitter and Wyeast 1056 American for the IPA. What...
