    Homebrew gives poops

Yup. Totally true. I'm a new brewer and my West Coast IPA is delicious but gave me the trots all day. I should let it sit but might also be my stomach not used to it aswell.

    Is this normal?

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=508303 In short, it sounds fine! "Tart" is usual in a dry cider, especially at first. Once it is completely finished and clear, that will be the time to stabilize the cider and make flavor adjustments. Once it's clear? I should stabilize?

    How long to stabilize?

Decided to Brew 3x 1 gallon batches of Hard Apple cider. Used canned apple juice with no preservatives or any added stuff. Did 1 with 1 cup of dextrose, 1 with half dextrose/half brown sugar and added 2 cinnamon sticks and 1 with all brown sugar. It's been sitting for 2 weeks and it's still...

Just got a Festa Brew West Coast IPA kit today, has anyone tried it?

Dump pre-made wort into pail (which aerates it beautifully), rehydrate yeast and you're done in 30 minutes or so and it's 6 gallons. I have had 2 batches that did...

Why would you go to McDonald's when you can make a hamburger at home? Price, convinience, time. Who cares if it's easy if it tastes great? Why you gotta piss on someone's parade? I'm trying this one, the previous brew was an extract and the next one will bean all grains. So what?

Beer here is crazy expensive. Who cares if it's "simple". If it tastes good and gets me drunk that's fine by me. Beer snob.

There's no extract. You dump in a pail, add yeast and voila!
