    he may not have an airlock, so you can have a loose lid. mr beer kits do this, they have notches cut where you screw the top on so its like having a loose lid

    yea most people bottle between 2-3 weeks some even longer depends on the beer, but if its that bitter i would at least wait 3 weeks

    what about after you cap the bottle and then shake the bottle? the headspace of air enough to oxidize that bottle or is it good to aerate to get the yeasties eating the sugar up, kinda like the last aeration we give before we pitch the yeast?

    Carbing with table sugar???

    i've only done one bottling so far, but used table sugar and had no probs with it. I added sugar to each bottle and then shook the bottle to mix it up. so far every bottle i've opened have been nicely carb. i dunno how it will go if u mix it up all at once since one person said it all sank to...

    mr beer does the same thing, i have a cowboy lager, but ferments at ale temps lol confusing to newbs like me. think they wouldn't name stuff like that being kit ingredients for newbs :drunk:
