    Long Draw draft questions.

I suppose I can do that (splicing) in the wall in what I am calling the "tower" (behind the taps) If I go directly under the taps in the basement, I will make the trunk line as it will only be about 9', insulated. The remainder, I will coil in the fridge. Should be easier to coil, that way...

    Long Draw draft questions.

So, as I suspected, I am going to need ~ 20' regardless of which of the two locations I am going to put the fridge. Remote means more trunk line, under the tap means more coil in the fridge. Hmmm...

    Long Draw draft questions.

I used the excel calculator (I forget where I got it) and I told it that I have a 3/16" bore on my shank. Odd thing is... When I calculate for a straight run from basement, up to tap (without the horizontal run) I get the same length. Does this sound correct? I can't imagine it does...

    Long Draw draft questions.

I know that this topic has been discussed numerous times. I think that I have wrapped my head around it (sort of). My fridge is in basement, taps will be on kitchen wall. I will probably purchase trunk line (no time of patience to make it, although it looks fairly easy) and use glycol...

    Beginner Welder Mistake??

I used 1.25 sq. tube with 1/8" wall. I ground all the welds. Some weld joints are even in a cantilevered area. I have not had any problems in many years. Like someone said, hit it with a hammer, or test one of your welds on some scrap after grinding it.

Help with Mini Fridge Fermentation Chamber

Sounds complicated. I used some patio enclosure material, cut a hole for the fridge, relocated the door and shoved it all under my stairs in the basement... http://s239.photobucket.com/user/tymekeepyr/library/Beer/Ferm%20Chamber

Science! I have been using it for years. Some may disagree with me, but in 7 years, I think I would have noticed anything detrimental. I rinse with the same temp water as I soak, just like PBW.

Oxi-Clean and sodium metasilicate (Na2SiO3) which you usually find sold as a "Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) Substitute." Mix in a 1:1 ratio. Save your money... Spend it on grain. :mug:

How can I tell what my main panel is?

I am going to agree with 50A. Best bet would be to install a 50a sub-panel to the garage (hot-tub style, perhaps?) and run your circuits off of that. Still going to need an electrician, still not going to be cheap. Fire is cheap. Flames, combustion, etc... When I upgraded to 200A...

How can I tell what my main panel is?

Hence the disclaimer of me not being a professional electrician. I changed my service from 60 amp fuses to 200 amp breakers, to include new ground spike, service entrance cable, grounds to plumbing, meter socket and replacement of knob/tube wiring and receptacles/switches throughout the house...

How can I tell what my main panel is?

Pulling it WILL shut off the whole house. Something tells me that calling an electrician may be in your best interests.
